2024-2025 Ashley Valley Hockey Registration

Welcome to the Ashley Valley Hockey 2024-2025 Fall/Winter Registration.  This season there are some exciting changes to make your child's experience with Ashley Valley Hockey a great one!

AVAHA is excited to continue for the 2024-2025 season. There is a new option for 8U, 10U,12U & 14U; we are offering a 12 week in house session for $100 that will NOT have any travel. 

8U Mites will have a semi-travel team.  This team will attend 3 tournaments and some league games when possible.  Keep in mind that there will be extra cost required when traveling as some games and tournaments will most likely require staying overnight (hotels, meals, gas...) 

Rental Gear is available at a first come first serve basis and new players will be given priority. 

For the 2024-2025 season, Ashley Valley Hockey is more closely aligning itself with USA Hockey guidelines with the intention of becoming a model organization.  We are working to utilize practice time more efficiently as well as closely follow the player, parent, and coach code of conduct within USA Hockey, UAHA, as well as AVAHA.   Specific Information regarding each age division can be found on the specific age division pages. 

Teams vary in size each year but cannot exceed eighteen players and two goalies per team. The goal of AVAHA is to keep our teams between 12 and 15 players whenever possible. This is to ensure players have more ice time and puck touches during practices and games in order to increase the players' skills level.  

All decisions are made by the coaching staff with the AVAHA board of directors having the final say in team placement. 

The age divisions and fees are as follows: Please note after Sept 1, 2024 the fees for the travel teams will increase $100.00 so register early.

Registration fees will increase $100 starting September1, 2024 (for Travel 10U, 12U, and 14U). 

Fees may be paid in full or over four (4) payments.  A $50 deposit is made at the time of registration with the remaining four (4) payment installments automatically taken on 9/20, 10/20, 11/20, and 12/20. If registration is completed after an installment that amount will automatically be included with the deposit.  (This is ONLY valid for travel teams, in house payment of $100 is due at the time of registration)

If a check or CC payment fails, including equipment deposits, and is returned due to insufficient funds, all costs and expenses will be assessed against the player’s account. 

In the case of a rejected credit/debit card charge, the player will be given a 10 day grace period to make good on the failed payment and any extra charges incurred.

Failure to resolve payment within the 10 ten grace period will result in a player's suspension from games. 

Failure to resolve payment within 30 days will result in a player being red-lined from the team.  This will be a full suspension from all games and practices.  

If a financial issue arises, contact the AVAHA Treasurer, and/or Registrar to discuss other payment arrangements.

All dues must be paid by March 31st following the season end or the player will be submitted to Utah Amateur Hockey Association for inclusion on the no-play list.
