Volunteer Requirements
AVAHA has put a volunteer fee into players registration costs. This fee will be refunded when the volunteer requirement is met. Each player's parent or guardian will need to volunteer a minimum of 3 to 10 hours through the season, depending on your player's level of play. The volunteer fee is a part of your registration cost and can be refunded or donated at the end of the season. Refund checks/Venmo will be issued and mailed no later than May 31st.

$100 Volunteer Fee

5 hrs. for additional players
Volunteer Opportunities without Certification requirements:
- Score Keepers
- Time Keepers
- End of Year Banquet Volunteers
- Fundraiser assistants:(calendar/sponsorships/other events)
- Hanging Boards & Banners at Ice Rink
- Ice makers
- Tournament Volunteers
- Board member assistants

Volunteer Opportunities requiring USA hockey certifications:
- Penalty Box Attendants
- LOCKER ROOM ATTENDANTS!!!! (We need at least two parents per team)
- Try Hockey For Free Day Volunteers
- Coaching (application required)
- Team Manager
- Tournament Volunteers-some jobs
