USA Hockey Volunteer Certification Steps
STEP 1
- Hover over “Membership”
- Click on “Register Online”
- Click on “Register Now”
- Mark the 18 Years & Older Box, Click Next
- Mark the Manager/Volunteer, Click Next
- Fill in Information and Follow the Prompts
- Submit a Copy of USA Hockey Number to Your Team Manager
STEP 2
- Click “Click Here to Begin Background Screen”
- Follow the Prompts
- You Will Need to Upload a Copy of Your ID
- Cost is $30 (Submit your receipt to avaha.treasurer@gmail.com to be reimbursed)
STEP 3
- Click on “Click Here for U.S. Center of SafeSport Training”
- Create/Login to MyHockeyHQ Portal Account
- Complete Module Training
Submit a copy of Completion Certificate to your Team Manager or the Registrar avaharegistrar@gmail.com
AVAHA is governed by USA Hockey. In order to keep our players and volunteers safe, we require those working with any players to have USA Hockey memberships for insurance, a background check, and a SafeSport training certificate. If you have any questions please reach out to our Registrar.
