Volunteer Requirements

AVAHA has put a volunteer fee into players registration costs. This fee will be refunded when the volunteer requirement is met. Each player's parent or guardian will need to volunteer a minimum of 3 to 10 hours through the season, depending on your player's level of play. The volunteer fee is a part of your registration cost and can be refunded or donated at the end of the season. Refund checks/Venmo will be issued and mailed no later than May 31st.

5 Volunteer Hours

3 hrs. for additional players

10U Squirts-14U Bantams:

$100 Volunteer Fee   

10 Volunteer Hours

5 hrs. for additional players

  • Score Keepers
  • Time Keepers
  • End of Year Banquet Volunteers
  • Fundraiser assistants:(calendar/sponsorships/other events)
  • Hanging Boards & Banners at Ice Rink
  • Ice makers
  • Tournament Volunteers 
  • Board member assistants

Volunteer Opportunities requiring USA hockey certifications:

  • Penalty Box Attendants
  • LOCKER ROOM ATTENDANTS!!!! (We need at least two parents per team)
  • Try Hockey For Free Day Volunteers
  • Coaching (application required)
  • Team Manager
  • Tournament Volunteers-some jobs
