Volunteer and Volunteer Hours

Volunteer Requirements

Starting the 2026-2027 season, volunteer fees will no longer be included into each players registration costs. Each player's parent or guardian will need to volunteer a minimum of 5 to 10 hours through the season, depending on your player's level of play. Hours will be tracked by team managers to make sure the required amount is met. For any hours left unmet at the end of the season, parents will be invoiced the in the amount of $25/hr. Please refer to the Parent Volunteer Agreement listed below for more information. Invoices will be sent out no later than March 31st.

  • Team Support Roles (Coaches, Managers)
  • Score/Time Keepers
  • Locker room monitor
  • Penalty Box
  • End of Year Banquet Volunteers
  • Fundraiser assistants:(calendar/sponsorships/other events)
  • Hanging Boards & Banners at Ice Rink
  • Ice makers
  • Tournament Volunteers 
  • Board member assistants

Volunteer Opportunities requiring USA hockey certifications:

  • Penalty Box Attendants
  • LOCKER ROOM ATTENDANTS!!!! (We need at least two parents per team)
  • Try Hockey For Free Day Volunteers
  • Coaching (application required)
  • Team Manager
  • Tournament Volunteers-some jobs
